No challenge is too big

Update January 9, 2022

In December of 2017, I was hired by a manufacturing quality and supply chain services company, Supply Chain Services International (SCSI). As Marketing Manager, I had the opportunity to work with a global network of professionals and expand my Project Management skills in a different corporate setting — as central support in the Manufacturing sector.

SCSI, from its inception, had a startup mentality. With an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction, SCSI was dedicated to training and developing its key personnel to continuously improve and innovate. The successful growth of the company led to acquisition by global powerhouse, TRIGO Group, headquartered in Nanterre, France. I had the pleasure and honor to lead the development of our communication framework, our company culture and onboarding program, and our customer relationship-building teams for our Post Merger Integration in North and South America.

I was selected for this role due to my ability to “connect the dots” between layers of business units, departments, and levels of stakeholders. From getting feedback from site-level teams to presenting reports to our global CEO, I was comfortable and able to engage.

My role expanded beyond our team and our business unit (which was now called Heavy Transportation, or HT), and I began reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing covering all of the Automotive Division in North and South America, as well as our Advanced Services business unit. Our marketing team was now collaborating with TRIGO’s Global Marketing team, and eventually we began to assist with global initiatives and lead some projects there, due to a combination of our team strengths and global team vacancies.

Along with these additional opportunities, I was appointed to multiple special projects throughout the organization, including high profile global initiatives. I developed a reputation as a “driver” of successful initiatives, and my project management touch was requested by teams beyond Marketing, as well.

My favorite thing about working for TRIGO is the people, but I also appreciate the firm’s dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, as well as a deep commitment to integrity.

From November 2017

As a detail-oriented professional with an extensive career in marketing and communications, I have experience in copywriting, design, editing, research, analysis and strategy. I have worked in both traditional and digital marketing, including the exploration of alternative pipelines with unique potential for additional exposure, which enabled me to secure nearly 1/3 of all custom pre-solds in the Peoria area for my employer (during one of the worst custom home markets in Central Illinois history).

Though I was Marketing Manager and had the shortest tenure at Blume (residential construction), I was tapped to be SME for code compliance, structural engineering, Energy Star and Builders Challenge compliance, as well as framing troubleshooting and problem solving… due to my mechanical aptitude, work ethic and ability to learn whatever is thrown at me.

I previously worked as a copywriter for an industrial advertising firm, where I was required to learn and master a variety of technical details in many different industries. I have worked in both B2B and B2C and have been closely following the trends and technology in digital promotion, including web and data analytics. I am a lifelong learner and self-starter, and on my own time I have completed Google Adwords and Google Analytics training, becoming certified in Google Analytics in 2017.

During my career I have learned myriad software programs and applications, from the Microsoft Office Suite to Photoshop to website creation to professional 3-D architectural design. I am willing to dedicate myself to whatever programs and applications are needed to do my job more effectively and am willing to obtain additional training and certifications.

My business acumen and dedication to continuous improvement make me an excellent strategist, collaborator and problem-solver. My background in direct sales augments my skills in client service; I am also proficient at negotiating with subs and suppliers. I have 15+ years’ experience in critical path methodology and project management.

I am enthusiastic and detail oriented; I am a self-starter and fast learner with the critical thinking skills that will make me a great asset to your team.
